Veterans Home Renovation
The Home Depot Foundation awarded Volunteers of America Southwest the opportunity to revitalize the Hawley Center in El Cajon, CA. The 3 building property makeover took place in one day, with the help of 150 volunteer Home Depot Associates and other community volunteers. Previoulsy utilized as a treatment and rehabilitation center, Hawley Center is set to become a Veterans transitional Housing complex that will serve 29 veterans with physical and mental health challenges.
